Salary: £100 - £125

Contract Type: Full time or Part time

Are you looking for opportunity to work as a Cover Supervisor? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant primary school team in Boston.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom with the absence of the teacher. You will assist in delivering the scheduled lesson, looking after the tasks students were given previously.

Key Responsibilities

Looking after the class in the absence of the teacher.
Delivering pre-prepared lesson for the class.
Promote positive behavior and address disruptions according to school policy.
Take attendance and report any issues to the relevant staff..
Encourage students to work independently and complete assigned tasks
Requirements

Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
A genuine passion for working with children
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain discipline and engagement
Ability to work as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Please keep in mind that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
