Grounds Maintenance Operative - Richmond (£25,000, Permanent)

Are you a dedicated and reliable grounds maintenance operative based in Richmond? Looking for a permanent role with a fantastic work environment? If so, we want to hear from you!

We're seeking a proactive individual to maintain, organise, and enhance various sites, ensuring top-quality grounds maintenance services that meet customer expectations. You'll have the opportunity to work independently, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to business growth.

About the Company

Our client is one of the fastest-growing businesses in the industry and a leading provider of integrated management and maintenance services for parks and green spaces across the UK. As part of their expansion, they are now looking to recruit a skilled grounds maintenance operative.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services, including:
✔ Weeding
✔ Pruning
✔ Planting
✔ Lawn mowing
✔ Strimming
✔ Hedge cutting
✔ General horticultural duties

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:
✅ A proven track record in grounds maintenance
✅ The ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ Experience using power tools and horticultural equipment (push mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc.)
✅ Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
✅ A results-driven mindset with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction

Desirable but not essential:
PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates
Horticulture qualifications
Experience operating ride-on mowers
