Social Media Lead - Nottingham (Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office) £32k-£38k - Leadership role.

A buzzing Nottingham based creative agency is looking for a passionate, hands on Social Media Lead to join their growing team. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a leadership role where you will take ownership of the agency’s social media output across a range of exciting clients, primarily B2B, with a growing focus on B2C.

If you are experienced in social media strategy, community engagement, content creation and team leadership, mentoring juniors and you love bringing bold ideas to life across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube this could be a great opportunity for you.

Your role will involve:

Developing and delivering social media strategies that drive real results across multiple clients

*

Leading and mentoring a small team of 3 Social Media Executives, giving them structure, support, and inspiration

*

Creating engaging, brand aligned content for organic and paid campaigns written, visual and video in collaboration with the wider creative team.

*

Running and optimising paid social campaigns—especially across LinkedIn, Meta platforms, and TikTok, bonus if you have used Ads Manager.

*

Building and engaging online communities, managing conversations and growing followers authentically

*

Getting involved in influencer marketing where relevant, from outreach to content collaboration

*

Analysing performance, producing reports, and using insights to refine strategies

*

Acting as a key client contact, attending meetings, presenting ideas, and managing expectations with confidence

*

Sitting in on senior leadership meetings to contribute to business wide thinking and shape the future of the agency’s social offering.

*

Supporting new business proposals and pitches with social strategy input

What we need you to have:

*

Proven experience in a social media role within an agency or fast paced in-house environment

*

Strong grasp of both B2B and B2C social media, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube

*

Excellent understanding of community management, tone of voice, and how to grow engaged audiences

*

Confident leading social media strategy and planning, with the ability to communicate this clearly to clients and team members

*

Comfortable working with analytics tools to track performance and report on ROI

*

Experience with paid social (especially LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads Manager) is a big bonus but not essential.

*

Great people skills, you will be client facing and team leading, so confidence, empathy and clarity are all key.

Highly organised and calm under pressure, able to juggle multiple brands and priorities at once
