An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and motivated Biology Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Farnborough, Hampshire. This is a full-time, permanent post with a September 2025 start and is ideal for both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals.

About the Science Department
The Science department is a supportive, thriving team with dedicated subject-specialist teaching in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Biology is a very popular subject at both GCSE and A-Level, with strong results and enthusiastic uptake each year.

About the Role
The successful Biology Teacher will:
• Deliver outstanding lessons across KS3 and KS4, and KS5 where appropriate.
• Engage students through inquiry-based learning and hands-on practical work.
• Help students to understand key biological concepts and develop scientific literacy.
• Work collaboratively with a team of subject specialists and support staff.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, tailoring feedback accordingly.
• Take part in extracurricular science events, such as STEM fairs and science clubs.

Experience and Qualifications
• A Biology-related degree.
• QTS or PGCE in Secondary Science.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
• A proactive, reflective, and positive teaching approach.

Salary
Paid to scale – MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
