Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing team in Shipley. The role will focus on process improvements, project management, and supporting new product introduction across manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD (2D & 3D), MRP, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Lead rollout of work across manufacturing and engineering processes.

*

Manage process improvement projects, including jigs and fixtures.

*

Support Design for Manufacture (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA).

*

Ensure smooth transition of products from design to production.

*

Liaise with suppliers and customers to support projects.

*

Champion the ECR/ECN process for change management.

*

Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality, safety, and cost.

*

Implement continuous improvement strategies.

*

Collaborate with CI, production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

Essential Skills & Experience:

*

Experience in manufacturing engineering, especially in discrete part manufacture.

*

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).

*

Familiar with MRP systems and engineering change processes.

*

Experience in assembly operations and commissioning new operations.

*

Strong problem-solving skills.

*

Ability to work within project teams and manage time effectively.

*

HND or Foundation Degree in Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).

Desirable Skills & Experience:

*

Knowledge of Siemens NX.
