Job Overview:
Join a growing manufacturing business based in Shipley as a Master Production Scheduler (MPS). You will be responsible for optimising production schedules, managing forecasts, and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have MRP and SAP experience, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain forecast models for customers and products.

*

Ensure alignment between sales orders, production schedules, and material availability.

*

Collaborate closely with engineering, production, assembly, and purchasing teams.

*

Analyse inventory levels and assist the planning department with any issues.

*

Manage MRP integration across departments.

*

Report on KPIs, including plan adherence, inventory, and customer delivery performance.

*

Contribute to SAP implementation within the supply chain.

Essential Skills & Experience:

*

At least 3 years’ experience in demand planning/forecasting within a manufacturing environment.

*

Experience with MRP systems and cross-functional teams.

*

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

*

Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.

*

Ability to engage stakeholders and drive collaborative efforts.

Desirable Skills:

*

Experience with SAP integration in the supply chain.

*

Understanding of machining processes like grinding, milling, turning.

*

Familiarity with metal cutting and bespoke orders.
