About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

Take on a diverse range of responsibilities, from curtain-sided and fridge box work to collections and deliveries from customer sites to warehouses in Devon, making every day unique and fulfilling.
Conduct comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to ensure your vehicle remains in peak condition.
Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.Essential Skills and Qualifications

Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to drive with confidence and skill.
Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
Experience with fridge trailers is a plus, but not a must - we provide thorough training to get you up to speed.
Bring your enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service, making every interaction memorable.
Excel at meeting deadlines, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
Be a confident, courteous, and cooperative team player, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Shift Hours: Start 15:30hrs - 03:30hrs, based on 12 hours per shift (Start and finish times may vary to cover key customer requirements.)
