A leading secondary school in Bracknell is seeking a well-qualified and passionate Physics Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time, permanent post open to both experienced Science teachers and Early Career Teachers.

About the Science Department

Physics is taught by subject specialists and is a popular subject at both GCSE and A-Level, with many students progressing to STEM degrees. Teachers are supported by dedicated technicians and subject leads.

About the Role
As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for:
• Teaching Physics across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Physics.
• Planning engaging lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Designing and conducting practical investigations that enhance learning and understanding.
• Monitoring student progress and using data to inform teaching.
• Contributing to departmental planning, resource development, and assessment frameworks.
• Supporting science enrichment, including STEM clubs, trips, and competitions.

Experience and Qualifications
• A degree in Physics or a related subject.
• QTS or PGCE in Secondary Science.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards and nurturing scientific curiosity.

Salary
Paid to scale – MPS/UPS, depending on qualifications and experience.
