Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: Thame (Hybrid working)

Job Purpose

To enhance the reputation of Lucy Electric, its people, products, and services by delivering inspiring marketing communications that inspire and resonate with the (intended) community.

Job Context

Lucy Electric is a business that is going through a period of exciting change, with a need for marketing assistance in updating our website, collateral, design and helping with event organisation. 

Job Dimensions

As the Marketing Assistant you will be at the heart of driving marketing campaigns for our products and services.  An important cog in the Marketing team, the role is full of variety, and you will need to roll your sleeves up and get involved at all levels, from draft presentations, delivering campaign and organising promotional events.  This will involve liaising with our regional marketing departments

Assist to develop and execute multi-channel campaigns across web and offline.
Manage marketing communication assets – e.g., images, brochures, presentations, case studies
Management and maintenance of the Lucy Electric and GridKey websites. 
Coordinate awards campaigns, including emails, promotion on social channels and gathering of award submission material
Ensure brand guardianship 
 Key Accountabilities

These will include:


Maintain Lucy Electric and GridKey websites with relevant and accurate content
Increase traffic driving to the website (campaigns / social media) 

Promotional campaigns

Work with other team members to develop and deliver emails campaigns and blog posts to generate organic traffic to the websites.  Assist with regular email marketing using Dotdigital  
Campaign management including post-evaluation reports (stats etc), with improvement recommendations
Develop and maintain a customer contact database to support e-marketing activities.Social Media (LinkedIn and Twitter)

Co-manage social media accounts by creating social media content plan, posting and engaging with users.Marketing Activities

Assist in creating promotional materials, including brochures, videos, animations and copywriting blogs and other informational collateral.
Arranging photoshoots (products / brand etc) and manage the photo library
Assist in the organisation and delivery of conferences and trade shows.  Ensure post reviews take place and are communicated to the wider team (sales)
Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand.
Provide internal comms support via the intranet, to showcase marketing and support internal initiatives and projects 

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

2+ years of relevant marketing experience 
Working knowledge of the full Adobe suite, including Photoshop, ID and Illustrator
Strong working knowledge of latest marketing communication practices.
Experience in digital marketing 
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Strong computer skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office & digital platforms (LinkedIn, WordPress, Trello)
Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills.
High level of initiative with the ability to self-motivate.
Works well independently and in team settings.
Good written and spoken English 
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work effectively with people from different cultures / backgrounds
