A respected and high-achieving school in Andover is seeking a passionate and experienced SENCO to join their leadership team in September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering a significant opportunity to shape SEND provision across the school.

About the Role
As SENCO, you will:
• Oversee all SEND provision across the school.
• Manage and implement effective support plans for pupils with EHCPs and other needs.
• Liaise with parents, carers, staff, and external agencies to ensure that each pupil receives the support they need.
• Provide training, coaching, and support for staff to promote inclusive teaching practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions and support strategies.
• Contribute to the pastoral and academic progress of students with additional needs.
• Lead on documentation, compliance, and SEND strategy.

Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified teacher status (QTS).
• National SENCO Award (or willingness to work towards it).
• Substantial experience in supporting students with a wide range of needs.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to upholding the values of inclusion and equity in education.

Salary
The role offers MPS/UPS + TLR, depending on qualifications and experience.
