Production Laboratory Technician
Location: East Grinstead
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Working Pattern: Full Time (3-week shift pattern, hours between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM)

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Laboratory Technician to join their team in East Grinstead! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where your skills and dedication will directly contribute to the production of Sensititre™ antimicrobic susceptibility plates.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a crucial member of the production laboratory and aseptic dispensing room, you will play an integral role in ensuring that health and safety, as well as quality standards, are upheld at all times. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of Antimicrobic Solutions: Follow relevant SOPs to accurately weigh, dissolve, and dilute solutions in accordance with production paperwork.
Production Dispensing Management: Set up and monitor production dispensing pumps, ensuring timely and quality output through pouring, priming, and weight checks.
Manufacturing Ancillary Solutions: Create essential ID media, buffers, and excipients necessary for the production process.
Compliance Checks: Regularly check laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including pipettes, balances, and extractors, to maintain compliance standards.
Stock Level Maintenance: Keep a close eye on raw material stock levels, ensuring that consumables and intermediates are adequately supplied.
Laboratory Support: Assist in the washing and autoclaving of equipment, including pumps and glassware, to maintain a clean and efficient working environment.What We're Looking For:

You must have previous experience as a Laboratory Technician for the position.Key Qualifications:

Previous experience in a laboratory or production environment is preferred.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
