Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary Schools

Rochdale

£105 - £120 per day

Age group: Flexible

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30)

Start date: September (dependant on references and DBS)

Value Education are looking for enthusiastic HLTA’s to work at the Primary schools we support in the Rochdale area.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.

Duties:

Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead
Assisting with group activities
Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis
Providing additional support to children with a range of SEN needs
Working inside and outside the classroom
Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher
Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year previous experience working within schools
Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff
Be able to handle difficult situations and behaviour efficiently
Be confident in delivering classes when needed
Flexible and able to cover where needed across EYFS-KS2
A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
