Description

We are working in partnership with a leading national contractor operating across water, power, rail, and energy. Following the award of a 5-year MEICA framework with Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and deliver multiple concurrent schemes.

Project Scope:

* Delivery of mechanical works within clean and wastewater infrastructure.

* Installation of process equipment, MCC panels, and associated pipework.

* Projects span from minor asset upgrades to major treatment facility enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the delivery of MEICA projects from pre-construction through to commissioning.

* Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective project execution.

* Monitor budgets, programme performance, and compliance with quality and H&S standards.

* Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders across Dŵr Cymru’s operational regions.

* Lead project teams across design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.

Requirements:

* Proven experience delivering mechanical projects in water/utilities or heavy M&E environments.

* Strong working knowledge of clean and wastewater process systems.

* Demonstrated leadership on NEC3/NEC4 or AMP framework contracts is advantageous.

* Ability to manage multiple sites with excellent organisational and stakeholder skills.

* Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
