Our client are seeking a Transport Administrator to support their busy transport office based in Wednesbury.

The key responsibilities for the role of Transport Administrator based in Wednesbury will be:
Communicating effectively with internal and external customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive and lasting impression.
Promptly answering and responding to incoming calls, addressing all customer queries and concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
Collaborating closely with the management team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the transport department.
Accurately completing all inbound and outbound paperwork in a timely manner.
Monitoring and chasing documentation to support the transport operations.
Producing statistics and reports as required, ensuring data accuracy.
Performing administrative and filing duties to support the needs of the Transport Department.
Managing customer orders by ensuring accurate details, timely delivery, and clear communication with depot staff.
Maintaining a positive, customer-focused team environment while seeking continuous improvements in customer and stakeholder experiences.
Handling customer and supplier inquiries and complaints, from investigation to resolution.
Ensuring that customer requirements are administered efficiently, with a controlled and recorded process.
Ensuring that all work is accurately documented, with clear audit trails for charging and compliance purposes.
Supporting the process of Continuous Improvement to enhance performance and employee satisfaction.
Entering accurate data into internal systems and reports.
Collaborating with the Accounts and Finance teams to ensure customer and supplier expectations are met.
Maintaining data security and integrity in line with business requirements.
Creating and compiling customer KPI reports.
Generating and reviewing customer invoices based on accurate data.
Tracking and tracing deliveries as needed.
Coordinating transport activities to ensure smooth operations. The successful candidate for the role of Transport Administrator based in Wednesbury will be:
Experienced in administration within a fast-paced distribution or transport environment, with a strong understanding of customer service.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and possess good numeracy skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities and the ability to work independently.
A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, able to build and maintain professional relationships.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and working to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Flexible and adaptable, willing to take on various tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Enthusiastic and proactive, with a focus on delivering results and improving processes.
Motivated by a collaborative team environment and committed to continuous improvement.
Experienced in financial administration and able to handle basic accounting tasks is an advantage. The successful candidate for the role of Transport Administrator based in Wednesbury will receive:
A salary of £26,000 per annum (negotiable DOE).
A Monday to Friday working pattern on Days.
Onsite parking.
