Job role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £35,(Apply online only) - £40,(Apply online only) DoE
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire
Hours: 7:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 11:30 finish on Friday
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The BenefitS
· Salary between £35,(Apply online only)-£40,(Apply online only) dependent on experience
· Overtime available and paid at 1.5x, 2x on Sundays
· 33 days holiday including bank holidays

The Role:
· Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on CNC and Cutting machinery
· Assist with the build and repair of a variety of cutting machinery based on site
· Work on new machinery and rebuild of older in the factory and also field on occasions.
· Some machines are large and require cranes etc but any handling equipmenT or specialist tools will be supplied.
· Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of automated machinery
· Adhere to company Health & Safety policies

The Requirements
· Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential)
· Mechanical and Electrical fault finding capabilities (essential)
· Multi-skilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias - electrical bias preferred but not required (essential)
· Previous experience surrounding hydraulics and pneumatics (essential)
· The ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings (essential)
· Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous
· Bench fitting, machining and fabrication experience (advantageous)
· Knowledge of safety control (advantageous)
· Ability to work with little supervision, self - motivated, willing to learn and ability to provide solutions to problems.
