Description

Reeson Education are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to start in a full time, long term role starting ASAP and will continue into the 2025/2026 academic year. Please only apply if you can commit until July 2026.

This will be working within a terrific school that has been rated outstanding by Ofsted. You will be working students with autism within Key Stage 3-5. These children are between the ages of 11 - 18. Within this class you will be working as a general TA. We are looking for someone to help students who require additional support in their general day to day lessons and know how to use augmentative and alternative communication.

As a teaching assistant within this school you will be supporting the class teacher with assessing their current capabilities, monitoring and reporting their progression. We are looking for someone who can help set realistic targets for the children each week and recognise milestones in individual students.

As this is a full time role, we are looking for someone who is available Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30pm.

We are ideally looking for someone who has worked previously with autism or complex needs in a classroom setting but if you have an understanding of autism, you will be considered for this role.
