Primary Teacher - Key Stage 2 - Year 3 to Year 6

Academics in Canterbury are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to support and inspire pupils in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, or Year 6 as they progress through their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and social development
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to deliver high-quality education
Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school communityWhat We Are Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6)
A creative, adaptable, and inspiring teaching approach
Strong understanding of the KS1 to KS2 transition
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to children's welfare
Excellent communication skills and classroom management
