About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the DSPL3 Primary Outreach Team, supporting mainstream primary schools across East Hertfordshire. You'll work with individual pupils and small groups to help manage behaviour, provide intervention strategies, and support students' personal and academic development.

You'll be responsible for delivering targeted support in schools, working closely with parents, carers, teaching staff, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the help they need. This is a varied and rewarding role that makes a genuine difference to young people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide behaviour support and intervention for pupils across mainstream schools in the DSPL3 area (Bishops Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Buntingford, Ware, Hertford, and surrounding villages).

Work directly with individual pupils and small groups to deliver tailored support and behaviour management plans.

Develop, implement, and review behaviour strategies in collaboration with school staff and external agencies.

Organise and lead meetings with parents, carers, school teams, and partner professionals.

Maintain clear and accurate records of all interventions and support provided.

Contribute to reintegration plans and wider school support strategies.

Requirements:

Experience working with primary and/or secondary-age children, ideally those with behavioural or SEN needs.

Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification or GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and behaviour management skills.

A proactive and positive approach to supporting young people.

Confidence working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities.

Competent IT skills to support record-keeping and communications.

A full, valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (as travel between schools is essential).

Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.
