Hours: Full time, permanent, term time only. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am to 4.00pm Tuesday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm

Salary: FTE £22,222 (Actual Salary £17,778)

Ripplevale School and College, is a thriving independent special school, for 170 students aged 6 to 25 years old, located in the historic town of Rochester. As part of the Ripplevale family of schools, we provide a holistic, child centred approach to meeting the needs of our students, most of whom have an Education and Health Care Plan. Identified needs may include Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyslexia, speech, language and communication difficulties, DCD, sensory, and high levels of anxiety.

Your new role

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in students' lives? We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong personality and a robust work ethic to work closely with students on a 1-2-1 basis and provide invaluable support to our class teachers.

Ripplevale provides a holistic child centred approach to education underpinned by our team of 91 Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Administrators and Therapists, all working in a caring and nurturing environment, with a common belief that all students have the opportunity to make progress and experience success everyday, in a safe, caring, nurturing and secure environment.

What we're looking for

A strong, confident individual with excellent communication skills.
A proactive and dedicated work ethic.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
