Position: Computer Science Teacher 
Start Date: September 2025 
Location: Amersham
Contract Type: Full Time
Salary: £33,075 - £50,471 per annum (MPS/UPS)

About the Role:
Supply Desk is partnering with an outstanding school in Amersham to find an enthusiastic and innovative Computer Science Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 students at a school renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities and its strong academic culture.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students to reach their potential. You’ll also support students with special educational needs (SEN) by adapting your teaching methods to meet their individual requirements. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to participate in extracurricular activities, enriching the school experience for students beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students in Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum.
Create a motivating classroom atmosphere that drives student success.
Provide tailored support to students with SEN, adjusting teaching strategies where needed.
Maintain a positive and respectful learning environment, ensuring the school’s behavioural expectations are upheld.
Get involved in extracurricular activities, contributing to the broader school community.

What We’re Looking For:

A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification (non-qualified teachers are welcome to apply).
The ability to provide two years’ worth of employment references.
Passion for teaching Computer Science and a positive attitude toward learning.
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to supporting student welfare.
