Associate Director - Cost Management
Location: Frankfurt
Type: Permanent / Hybrid
Salary: Highly Competitive and Package
Language: Fluent German /B2 minimum.
 
Responsible for all aspects of cost management and project delivery across our Real Estate, Life Science and IST sectors. We are seeking a driven and motivated Associate Director (Cost Manager) to act as a leader, managing cost management professionals within larger teams and delivering successful outcomes for their clients. You will support the management direction and leadership of the Cost Management stream and other business development related activity.
 
Responsibilities: 

Leading a Cost Management team, ensuring they deliver on all
Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client, stakeholders, and other consultants, at all project
Manage the review and participate with the design services team and general contractor, in the development of the cost estimates.
Manage and reconcile changes that occur over the design
Communicate and/ or meet with general contractor, design team and client to receive design information in a timely manner to prepare a cost estimate update.
Prepare responses to the General Contractor’s submissions of tender submissions, payment applications, etc. Coordinate all sources of cost information for cost discussions and suppliers direct from NPA, subs, quantities from A/Es.
Inform and drive value engineering solutions based on cost
Manage and provide estimate and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost
Work proactively, working with relevant scheduling staff, with minimal supervision to resolve resourcing/ scheduling issues.
Manage cost checks and carry out payment recommendations, supporting staff as Complete timely, accurate cost checking and valuation processes.
Manage and participate effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control
Manage cost impact / contingency management and commitment tracking

Qualifications 

Solid technical experience in all cost management areas; planning, estimating, pre-contract post contract and final account.
Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication
Ability to estimate at conceptual, feasibility and detailed
Understand cost (labour, plant, materials) as well as cashflow, commitments and overall project
Experience preparing Cost Management estimates and
