Empowering Learning - on behalf of a supportive and inclusive primary school in Denton

We are recruiting for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to cover maternity leave in a Year 2 class at a well-regarded Denton primary school. This full-time role begins in October 2025 and runs through to the end of the academic year. The school promotes inclusion, high standards, and strong home-school links.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Year 2 learners

Prepare pupils for KS1 SATs through targeted support

Differentiate learning for mixed abilities, including SEN and EAL

Create a calm and structured classroom environment

Work collaboratively with support staff and leadership

Ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS and have recent KS1 teaching experience

Be confident teaching phonics and early literacy

Have a nurturing, resilient, and child-centred approach
