Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs to reach their full potential? Do you have the patience, empathy, and energy to make a lasting impact? We are working with a warm and inclusive SEN school in West Drayton that is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated team.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant in this specialist setting, you will:

Support pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and sensory or physical needs.
Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning and support plans.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils access the curriculum and develop key life skills.
Promote independence, confidence, and social interaction through positive relationships and consistent support.
Assist in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (highly desirable).
A compassionate, adaptable, and resilient approach to learning support.
Strong teamwork, communication, and behaviour management skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the well-being of all pupils.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are an advantage but not essential.Whether you're experienced in SEN or looking to take your first steps into special education, we welcome your application and interest in joining this incredible team.
