3 Phase Product Tester
Location: Calne, Wiltshire
Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
Hours: 07:00 - 1530 Monday - Thursday and 07:00 - 12:30 on Friday
Pay Rate: £14.05 p/h

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Three Phase Product Tester to join our client's manufacturing and testing team. This position is crucial in ensuring the quality, performance, and safety of three-phase electrical products before they are released for distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, experience with high-voltage testing equipment, and a methodical approach to fault-finding and inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive functional and safety tests on three-phase electrical products in accordance with company and industry standards.
Verify electrical continuity, insulation resistance, and earth bond compliance.
Identify and report faults or non-conformities found during the testing process.
Complete and maintain accurate records of all test results, using appropriate documentation systems.
Work closely with the engineering and production teams to address any issues and improve product quality.
Follow strict health and safety guidelines while working with high-voltage systems.
Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working order.
Assist with the development and improvement of test procedures where necessaryRequirements:

Previous experience in a product testing or electrical inspection role, ideally involving three-phase systems.
Strong understanding of electrical safety, test procedures, and fault diagnostics.
Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documents.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with test equipment such as insulation resistance testers, continuity testers, and multimeters.
