Description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor/Cover Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Totton area. Ideally, we are looking for someone available to start in September, with full-time availability preferred.

As a Cover Supervisor/Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising classes across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will oversee the classroom, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning, while delivering pre-prepared lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and engaging students in their learning

Delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Ensuring a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere

Supporting students’ educational progress

Being flexible in covering a range of subjects when necessary

Requirements:

A passion for education and the ability to inspire students

Flexibility to adapt to different subjects and age groups

Strong communication and organisational skills

A positive and patient attitude

Experience within a classroom environment

Good behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
