The Mechanical Design Engineer role involves designing precision mechanical systems and assemblies using CAD software, developing and testing prototypes, managing documentation and BOMs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have strong 3D CAD skills, experience with mechanical design, and a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset. As well as skills in communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements of a Mechanical Design Engineer

* Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks) for creating mechanical designs and assemblies

* Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, design methodologies, and system architecture

* Ability to manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation within an ERP system

Desirable Requirements of a Mechanical Design Engineer

* Relevant degree or equivalent qualification

* Experience with Electrical/Electro mechanical Engineering
