Accounts Semi Senior/Senior – Progression-Focused Role

Location: Eastbourne

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (pro rata if part-time)

Are you an experienced Accounts Senior looking to work in a practice that truly values your input and offers clear progression?

This Eastbourne-based accountancy firm is modern, inclusive, and sociable – and they’re seeking a qualified or part-qualified accountant to join them as an Accounts Senior.

Ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, loves supporting clients, and wants to progress their career in a relaxed yet professional environment.

The Role:

You’ll be managing your own portfolio, producing high-quality accounts and tax work while building trusted client relationships and supporting junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts

Producing management accounts and VAT returns

Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work

Client liaison and advisory

Working closely with managers and partners on complex client needs

What We’re Looking For:

ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified

Strong practice experience (minimum 3 years)

Excellent communication and time management skills

Confident working independently and as part of a team
