Our client, a leading Consultancy n the engineering sector, is currently seeking an experienced Motor Control Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is offered outside IR35, presenting an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge motor control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing advanced motor control algorithms, including Field Oriented Control (FOC) and Vector Control
Designing, testing, and validating control systems to meet project requirements
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems
Conducting system-level analysis and troubleshooting to optimise performance
Preparing detailed technical documentation and reports

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in motor control engineering
Strong competencies in Controls Systems and Systems Engineering
Knowledge of Field Oriented Control (FOC) and Vector Control for Brushless Motors
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication abilities to articulate technical concepts clearly
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
