CNC Operator (Training & Progression)

£25,000 - £39,000 + Technical Training + Progression as business grows + Premium overtime + Discretionary Bonus + Pension + Additional 5 Days Holiday after 1 year of service

Workshop based role, commutable from Templecombe, Yeovil, Sherborne, Gillingham, Castle Cary, and the surrounding areas.

Shift options - Day (6am - 2pm) - Mid (2pm - 10pm) - Night (10pm - 6am)

Are you a CNC Machinist looking to join an industry leading company who will heavily invest into your technical development where you can maximise your earnings through overtime and a discretionary bonus, all whilst benefiting from a scope to progress within the business to a more senior position.

This company have multiple sites across the UK, specialise in steel manufacturing having undergone a period of growth and expansion and with many new contracts coming through, they are looking for an additional CNC Operator to join the team.

The role involves operating manual and CNC machinery to process steel to customer specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout all production and handling activities.

The role would suit a candidate from a CNC Machining background looking to be heavily invested into to further enhance their skillset, also looking for further progression opportunities.

The Role:
*3 shift options - Day (6am - 2pm) - Mid (2pm - 10pm) - Night (10pm - 6am)
*Operate manual and CNC machinery to process steel products to customer specifications and tolerances.
*Safely handle materials using forklifts, Combilifts, cranes, and perform daily equipment checks.
*Read and interpret technical drawings and orders, ensuring accurate order preparation and packaging.
*Follow all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures, reporting risks, incidents, and equipment issues.
