My client, an independent, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Civil Engineer to join their experienced team of drainage and highways engineers, based in the beautiful town of Carmarthen, West Wales.

Essential Criteria:

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Civil Engineering
Experience of carrying out Drainage Impact Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Flood Risk Assessments
Demonstrable experience of working with roads, highways, and infrastructure, including adoptions
Experience of working within an engineering consultancy role
Good working knowledge of a range of software packages, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D, etc.
Full UK Driver's Licence

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Civil Engineer to possess the following:

Attained Chartered Engineer status, or actively working toward this
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills
Familiar with the local area

In the varied role of Civil Engineer, you will join a dedicated team of specialist design engineers, with a view to developing your career and progressing through the ranks. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:

Produce Drainage Impact Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Flood Risk Assessments
Plan and design a range of roads and other infrastructure projects
Work with the adoption of newly constructed infrastructure, ensuring it meets required standards and specifications
Support Senior Engineers and management with the delivery of various projects, adhering to agreed budgets and timescales
Provide assistance to Senior Engineers in project preparation, including calculations, specifications, etc.
Assist the Design Team with the delivery of accurate drawings
Carry out site inspections and surveys
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects
