Facilities Technician - Plumbing, Steam & Pipework
Location: Market Drayton
Salary: Up to £45,000
Hours: Day-based role (no nights)

We're looking for an experienced Facilities Technician with a background in plumbing, steam systems, or pipefitting to join a busy manufacturing site in Market Drayton. What you'll be doing:

Install, maintain, and repair pipework systems (copper, stainless, ABS, PVC etc.)

Maintain steam systems, including traps, valves and condensate lines

Carry out welding and basic fabrication

Respond to breakdowns involving water, steam, or mechanical issues

Log all work and updates in the CMMS (HolisTech)

Supervise contractors and manage permits and RAMS

Support projects and upgrades involving utilities or infrastructure

What we're looking for:

Experience in plumbing, pipefitting, or mechanical maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings

Knowledge of steam systems, valves, pumps and water distribution

Welding skills and the ability to read pipework schematics

Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, Pipefitting, or Mechanical Engineering

Safety-conscious with a practical, hands-on approach

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
