Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: Wythenshawe
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (1 Year)
Salary: Paid to Scale
Qualifications: QTS or QTLS Required

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a brand-new specialist provision primary school opening this September in Wythenshawe. We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to help shape and deliver outstanding education for pupils with autism and speech and language difficulties.

This provision is designed to meet the needs of students who require a more tailored, communication-focused approach to learning. You will play a central role in delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets individual needs and supports pupils in achieving both academic and personal development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with autism and speech and language needs

* Work closely with support staff and therapists to develop and implement EHCPs and personalised learning plans

* Create a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

* Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed

* Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure consistent support

* Contribute to the overall development and ethos of the new provision

Essential Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)

* Experience teaching/ in an SEN setting or with pupils with additional needs

* Strong understanding of autism, speech and language difficulties, and appropriate teaching strategies

* Confident in delivering differentiated lessons and using alternative communication methods where required

* Ability to work as part of a supportive, collaborative team

Pay: £150.00-£230.00 per day
