Internal Quality Auditor
Based in Leith | hybrid working available but must be within commutable distance
Full Time hours | Monday to Friday
Permanent role
Salary up to £40,000 (depending on experience) + excellent benefits

Search Consultancy are working with one of our most sought-after nationwide clients to recruit this permanent role to replace an internal move within their business.

The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the company's internal audits, as well as leading on external audits of the company's ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO47001) with regards to quality.

This is a standalone role within the wider Legal Services side of the business, and would ideally suit an experienced and seasoned Internal Auditor looking to take on a role that they can shape & make their own going forward.

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Undertaking internal audits across the company's accreditations - including Quality, Environment and Health & Safety (ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001)
* Preparation & submission of well written audit reports, ensuring complete accuracy within agreed timeframes
* Holding meeting with & liaising with auditees in order to gather appropriate information & provide feedback
* Planning & delivery of audit structures alongside the Senior Leadership team, ensuring audits are fit for purpose
* Supporting with the creation & delivery of a defined internal audit plan for the business
* Ensuring hat any updates or changes to ISO standards are documented & followed
* Carrying out risk assessments on business activities, managing the company's risk register

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Extensive previous experience of both Internal Audit and working to the above ISO standards - this experience is ESSENTIAL and candidates from a Quality Management or Quality Assurance background would be at an advantage in this process
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - with the ability to deal with & influence stakeholders at all levels of the business including the Senior Leadership team
* Excellent organisation, attention to detail & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise & complete your workload effectively as this is a standalone role
* First class report-writing skills
