Maths Teacher - Secondary School - South West London

Location: South West London
Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (with opportunity to go permanent)
Salary: £160 - £225 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Are you a dynamic and motivated Maths Teacher looking for a new teaching role in a supportive and well-established secondary school?

Remedy Education is working with a respected secondary school in South West London to recruit a qualified Maths Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will deliver Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons to meet the needs of all learners

Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5)

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents

Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and whole-school activities

Maintain a well-managed and inclusive classroom environment

Support students' development in both academic and personal growth

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Holds UK QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Proven experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education

Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

Committed to supporting student achievement and wellbeing

Holds (or is willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
