Health & Safety Advisor – Construction Contractor | Coventry & West Midlands
Up to £50,000 + Flexible Working

Want to spend more quality time supporting sites and less time stuck in traffic bouncing between projects with no impact? This could be the role for you.

A leading regional construction contractor is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their growing team. Known for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining a strong safety culture, they’re looking for someone who can embed themselves into the operational team, providing hands-on support across their sites in the West Midands area.

This isn’t a box-ticking role. You’ll work closely with project teams to help drive best practice, support site management, and ensure Health & Safety is seen as a positive, proactive part of the build process—not just a requirement. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and given the flexibility to manage your time, prioritise high-impact work, and focus on quality over quantity.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting multiple live construction sites across the region

*

Providing practical, solutions-focused Health & Safety advice

*

Helping to deliver toolbox talks, inspections, site audits and reporting

*

Working with operational teams to build safety awareness and compliance

*

Being a key part of building a strong, positive safety culture

What they’re looking for:

*

Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within construction Ideally for a contractor

*

NEBOSH Construction Certificate

*

Confident on-site, able to build rapport with site teams and subcontractors

*

A practical, adaptable approach to safety management
