Medical Devices Trainer
Location: Oswestry, Shropshire

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for one of our established Clients based on site at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, Shropshire.
As the Medical Devices Trainer you will be providing face-to-face and online training on the use of designated medical equipment to current and new clinical staff at all levels.
As the Medical Devices Trainer, you will be responsible for:
* Identifying medical device training needs for clinical professional users and deliver or facilitate appropriate medical device training
* Supplement OEM training on high-risk devices/devices in acute clinical areas
* Maintaining the Learning Management System
* Provide advice and support the medical device risk assessment process
* Assist in developing strategies for training on the use of medical devices
* Audit the effectiveness of training programmes
* Determine appropriate arrangements for refresher training
* Monitor clinical incidents and recommend action arising from MHRA device alerts
* Liaise with the Client in-house clinical training and competence teams as required
* Be an active member of the Client Medical Devices Committee, or equivalent
The successful Medical Devices Trainer will have the following related skills / experience:
* Experience of delivering training, ideally in a clinical setting
* Experience of, and familiarity with using or training on a range of medical devices
* Clinical experience working in critical care, theatres, PICU, NICU, HDU or a similar area (Desirable but not essential)
* Good understanding of clinical processes and conditions, and of indications for use of different medical devices and their limitations
* Experience in managing and maintaining complex MS Excel Workbooks
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
