Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, for one of our clients based in Oldbury. As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for performing reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical machinery across the site, reporting directly into the Maintenance Manager.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
* Reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical machinery across the site
* Investigating faults with plant and equipment, completing any necessary repairs
* Supporting the day-to-day manufacturing process
* Effective recording and monitoring of all engineering/production-based issues
* Troubleshooting problems and suggesting improvements
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Details:
* Location: Oldbury, Birmingham
* Salary: £35,000 - £37,800 PA
* Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
* Prior experience working within Mechanical Maintenance
* City and Guilds Part 1 and 2 in mechanical engineering
* Experience of planned maintenance and continuous improvement
* Good attention to detail
* Fitting skills with the ability to weld and fabricate
* Hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding experience
