Large established subcontract precision engineering firm looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join this skilled team. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
Proven track record of investigating non-conformance, executing root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions.
Capability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced production environment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 processes; experience in Quality Management System (QMS) oversight is advantageous.
Background in supplier management and auditing is beneficial.
Experience in product inspection is a plus.Core Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Provide quality feedback and drive improvements in collaboration with production teams.
Work alongside customers to address quality issues and facilitate the implementation of corrective measures.
Develop and maintain inspection plans and quality documentation, such as PSW and Control Plans.
Conduct product audits to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
Manage product traceability and oversee the calibration of measuring equipment.
Deliver quality training to staff and assist in implementing 5S workplace organisation principles.This is a permanent job with a starting salary dependant on experience.
