Project Manager – Civil Engineering
Location: East of Scotland
Reference: J45322

Our client, a well-established and highly respected Civil Engineering Main Contractor with an annual turnover of £150 million, is seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager on a permanent basis. This opportunity sits within their civil engineering division, delivering projects primarily across the East of Scotland as part of a significant, long-term framework.

You will play a key role in a collaborative and supportive team environment, one that promotes innovation and creativity with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality solutions for their clients. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered efficiently, economically, and in full compliance with industry regulations.

Due to the seniority and responsibility of this position, prior experience managing a range of civil engineering projects—particularly within the Scottish Power Framework—is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) matters
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
Monitor and manage project budgets
Supervise and coordinate site personnel
Support and engage in the commercial aspects of project delivery
Maintain detailed reports and project records
Essential Requirements:

Educated to degree or HNC level in a relevant Civil Engineering discipline
Proven track record in managing a variety of civil engineering projects
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of all site-based civil activities
Experience working on Scottish Power Frameworks is highly desirable
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive approach
Possession of a full UK driving licence
