A market-leading industrial solutions provider is on the lookout for an Applications Engineer to join their collaborative, high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your engineering expertise with customer-facing influence, working on major capital projects from concept through to delivery.

What You’ll Do

In this hands-on and strategic role, you’ll:

Create detailed 2D/3D system layouts and rendered images using AutoCAD, Inventor & 3DS Max

Support the sales cycle with accurate technical drawings, utility requirements & costings

Deliver in-depth technical presentations to clients

Collaborate with internal teams and customers from order to project sign-off

Produce detailed handover packs for operations teams

Influence customer solutions using standardised product ranges

Support pre-contract testing, site visits, project discussions & FATs

Develop new tools to streamline system specification & costing workflows

What You’ll Bring

Expert use of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and associated design tools

Strong knowledge of special purpose equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems

A keen ability to present complex technical info clearly to customers

Experience working in technical sales or solutions engineering

A team-first mindset and confidence managing multiple complex projects

Knowledge of P&IDs and plant layouts
