Empowering Learning requires a 1-1 Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary school with a 1-1 student with SEMH needs.

Role Details:

Location: Redcar and Cleveland area
Hours: 5 days a week, 8:15 AM - 15:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP with potential for the new academic year as well

Responsibilities:

Support the child in the classroom.
Assist the lead teacher with the curriculum and activities.
Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of the child.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Assist with personal care if required.
Experience of behaviours that challenge
Support with SEN needs
Communicate with parents and provide updates on the child's progress.
Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Previous experience of supporting young children with SEN needs.
Strong communication skills for interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and passion for working with young children.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
Basic understanding of child development principles.
DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.If you meet the above criteria then please apply
