We have a long-term IT teacher vacancy that commences from the 1st September 2025. This IT Teacher post will be for the 2025/26 academic year with a permanent contract on offer for 2026/27. This a very supportive and academic Caerphilly secondary school. This a fantastic opportunity for a NQT or experienced teacher. The successful candidate would be expected to teach pupils basic ICT literacy and packages that is needed in everyday working life.

Plan and prepare effective schemes of learning and lessons
Use innovative and diverse teaching methods that supports the national curriculum
Use regular assessments to monitor progress and set targetsRequired Skills and Qualifications for an IT Teacher

Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
Valid DBS (Can be produced through us)
Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (Can be produced through us)Desirable Skills for an IT Teacher

Full driving licence and have access to a car
