SAP Business Analyst - Metering Solutions - Durban On Site - R55,000 CTC

The company works with clients across South Africa, South America, the Middle East, and Africa. They have technology affiliations with Siemens, SAP, Oracle, and more. Their smart meters assist customers with utility management, revenue enhancement, load management, and demand management, with a focus on big data analytics and smart grid solutions.

Responsibilities:

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Oversight – Maximise the performance and usability of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud by managing updates, integrations, and providing user support.
Management of Enterprise Applications – Lead the governance, integration, and full lifecycle of both SAP and non-SAP business applications across the organisation.
Process Improvement & Automation – Analyse current workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement technology-driven enhancements that streamline operations and reduce costs.
System Documentation & Training Delivery – Ensure system documentation is accurate and current, create user guides, and deliver training sessions to support user adoption.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination – Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring service agreements are met.
Governance, Security & Compliance – Oversee adherence to legal, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards across all enterprise applications.
Data Reporting & BI Support – Design and deliver dashboards, facilitate data extraction, and integrate analytics to enable data-informed decision-making.
Requirements:

A recognised degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline.
Over five years of professional experience managing enterprise applications, with significant involvement in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.
Hands-on expertise with key SAP modules including Finance (FI/CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).
Demonstrated ability in analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering tailored system solutions.
Familiarity with a range of enterprise platforms such as CRM, MES, or HRMS, and their integration points with SAP systems.
Prior exposure to cloud-based solutions and technologies such as SAP Fiori or UI5 is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of project methodologies including ITIL, Agile, or Waterfall frameworks is considered beneficial.
Must possess a valid driver’s licence.

A performance-based incentive: a 13th cheque
