Quantity Surveyor – Architectural Metalwork - West London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and rapidly growing architectural metalwork contractor, renowned for delivering bespoke metalwork solutions across the UK.

If you have a keen eye for detail, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for high-end architectural steelworks projects, this is your chance to join a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for architectural metalwork projects
Manage all commercial aspects of multiple projects from tender through to final account
Analyse project drawings and specifications to assess cost implications
Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages
Monitor and report on project expenditure and progress
Carry out site visits and valuations, ensuring work is completed within budget and timescales
Identify risks and value engineering opportunities
Prepare interim applications, final accounts, and variations Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the architectural metalwork, steelwork, or construction sectors
Strong knowledge of contract administration, including JCT and NEC forms
Excellent numerical and negotiation skills
Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Excel, Bluebeam, or similar)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Strong communication and client-facing skills
HNC/Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred) What’s on Offer:
