About the Role: Adept Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of our client, based in Derbyshire. They are seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join their successful team, focusing on chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel projects.

Role Overview: Reporting to the Sales Director, you will prepare accurate cost estimates and support tender bids. You'll collaborate with engineers, clients, and project teams to deliver competitive quotations and maintain high standards in estimating processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct steel take-offs from engineer and architects drawings/specifications.
Develop cost estimates aligned with business protocols.
Prepare detailed quotations, pricing schedules, and tender bid documents.
Establish budgets for Commercial, Procurement, and Project Teams.
Review and advise on client contract documentation.
Assist in preparing handover documentation for project teams.
Liaise with staff and clients at all levels.
Enhance estimating techniques and processes.Skills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of technical drawings, construction methods, and engineering principles in metalwork or structural steelwork.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with clients, engineers, and suppliers.
Proficient in MS Office; training provided for bespoke software.
Experience in renewable energy, MOD, or nuclear sectors is desirable.
Proven estimating experience in relevant industries.
