Deputy Manager - Liverpool, UK

With a strong focus on professional development and a collaborative work environment, we are looking for a passionate Deputy Manager to join a dynamic team in Liverpool.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Support the development and implementation of care plans for children and young people.
Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Manage budgets and financial resources effectively.
Address and manage challenging behaviour in a constructive manner.
Engage with families and external agencies to promote positive outcomes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in social care or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Experience in children services, particularly in care management and deputy management roles.
Strong understanding of anti-social behaviour and its impact on children and young people.
Proficient in budgeting and financial management within a care setting.
Ability to manage challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
