Design & Technology Teacher

Redcar | Full-time | KS3–KS4 | Ofsted Rated Good

A well-regarded secondary school in Redcar is on the lookout for a dynamic and creative Design & Technology Teacher to join their team.

Students are encouraged to think critically, design boldly, and develop real-world skills - they need a teacher who can bring that vision to life.

You’ll be delivering engaging D&T lessons across KS3/4, helping students turn ideas into outcomes across subjects like Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering.

What we’re looking for:

QTS with a D&T specialism (Product Design, Engineering, etc.)

Strong knowledge of health and safety in workshop settings

A creative, can-do attitude with excellent classroom presence

Confidence in planning and delivering lessons that blend theory and practical application

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
