This vacancy, the result of growth will report into the head of payroll and will be office based on a hybrid basis.

You will be working within a small team in one of our clients office in Scotland, ideally based in Stirling.

The Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to provide a payroll service to approximately 30 – 50 clients ensuring that their staff pay is calculate and that associated documentation such as payslips are accurately produced and distributed.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
Preparation of weekly and monthly payrolls for a number of clients.
Ensure accurate calculation of employee hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll-related elements.
Liaise with clients with respect to queries and build client relationships.
Processing of payroll documentation such as P60`s, P11d`s, P45`s etc.
Ensure that tax calculations are correctly calculated and communicated to customers.
Management of timesheet information and ensure that the information is accurately keyed into the payroll software.
Accrual of holiday entitlement`s and process of holiday pay when requested.

The Requirements
We are seeking an established and experienced payroll professional who has experience of working within either an accounting firm or an outsourced payroll bureaux. We are looking for applicants who have used payroll systems such as Xero, BrightPay or Iris and who have a good level of experience of using Excel. We are candidates who have the ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients and who have exceptional attention to detail. Our client is considered to be a prestigious firm and are growing month by month. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to elevate their career to the next level.
