Location: Stourport-on-Severn
Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:30
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Contract: Temp - Perm

Pertemps is currently looking for a Forklift Driver to join our client on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently within the yard. If you hold an in-date Counterbalance licence, in-house training can be provided for Reach Truck operation.

The Duties of a Forklift Driver:
Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and organise stock in the yard
Load and unload deliveries with precision and care
Ensure stock is stored correctly and in line with company procedures
Carry out regular safety checks on the reach truck and report any issues
Assist with general yard duties, including housekeeping and stock control
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
The Requirements of a Forklift Driver:
Valid Forklift licence and experience
Previous experience working as a Reach Truck Driver in a yard or warehouse desirable
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks when required
