Salary: Lead Practitioner scale points 6-10 (£57,979 - £63,888)

Are you an outstanding English teacher ready to lead by example and drive teaching excellence across a school?

A thriving secondary school in Watford is seeking to appoint a Lead Practitioner of English to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping pedagogy and raising standards across the department and wider school community.

As Lead Practitioner, you will:

Model outstanding classroom practice and inspire others.
Support, coach, and mentor staff to develop their teaching and impact.
Lead CPD and drive continuous improvement in English teaching.
Contribute to strategic planning, curriculum design and assessment.
Play a pivotal role in supporting early career teachers and those new to the profession.You will be joining a school that values professional development and innovation, with access to:
